Opendata.ch/2017 is Switzerland’s leading conference convened around the subject of Open Data, hosted by the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and its initiative Data Worlds and Opendata.ch.
On June 27 in 2017, we are going to shape the national conversation among business executives, politicians, public officials, researchers and open data enthusiasts through a very diverse and dynamic program that includes subjects such as Open Smart Cities, Open Tourism & Transport Data, Open Science, Open Food Data & Data Infrastructure.
Together we will explore new frontiers and go beyond government, beyond the centers and into the personal space.

Peter Delfosse is the CEO of Axon Active – a company which focuses on information which can be gathered from data and afterwards be transferred as a basis for organisations to make wise decisions. Axon Active’s predecessor company Endoxon was acquired by Google back in 2006, to integrate the leading technology into Google maps.

Simon Hodson is an expert on data policy issues and research data management. He is the Executive Director of CODATA since August 2013. CODATA (http://www.codata.org/) is the Committee on Data of the International Council for Science (ICSU). CODATA exists to promote global collaboration to improve the availability and usability of data for all areas of research.

Pre-Conferences: OGD DACHLI and MyData Switzerland on June 26
Am Tag zuvor, am Montag 26. Juni 2017, findet die OGD DACHLI Konferenz statt.
Open Government Data verlangt mehr als nur eine Modernisierung von Publikationsprozessen. Es verlangt nach einer Anpassung der Grundhaltung, nach einer Veränderung, die oft als „OGD-Kultur“ bezeichnet wird. Offenheit als Angebot und als Nachfrage müssen zusammenfinden und sich gegenseitig bei der weiteren Entwicklung fördern. Die OGD-DACHLI-Konferenz behandelt dieses Thema der OGD-Kultur und sucht nach konkreten Massnahmen, welche die öffentliche Hand umsetzen kann.
Falls Sie interessiert sind, am Anlass teilzunehmen, können Sie sich bis zum 18. Mai 2017 per Mail an opendata@bar.admin.ch wenden, mit dem Betreff “OGD DACHLI”.
Ebenfalls am Montag, 26. Juni 2017, findet der erste MyData Workshop in der Schweiz, den die Swiss Data Alliance in Zusammenarbeit mit der Hochschule Luzern durchführt, statt und stellt die neusten Personal Information Management System (PIMS)-Lösungen vor und bringt im Rahmen eines Podiums das Recht auf Kopie und die Datenübertragbarkeit zur Sprache.
Der Workshop richtet sich an alle, welche sich für den Paradigmenwechsel in der Nutzung persönlicher Daten und die Chancen der digitalen Selbstbestimmung interessieren.
